About Me
Hello! I've tried blogging multiple times in the past and never really got into the swing of it — writing was always just too much effort and I had too little time to spare. Chances are that pattern will probably hold this time too, so don't expect a whole lot from me.
I'm not entirely sure what I want to write about so I'm not sure what sort of content you'll find here. Hopefully it's not just a pool of madness.
Actually About Me
I'm a human.
I enjoy playing PC, VR, and tabletop games. My favorite types of games tend to be boomer shooters, retro adventure games, real-time strategy, and casual cooperative games. I like complex board games as well as Pathfinder (1E) and Dungeons & Dragons (mostly 3.x). I wish I knew enough people to play some GURPS, Cyberpunk 2020, or the Alien RPG as I love those to death in theory but don't have the playtime to really know.
Aside from gaming, my loves are animals and programming. I have two parakeets and way too many mice. I love to write code, but hate to finish or release it. Got my first taste of programming using QuickBasic 4.5 on my 80286. When I was in middle school, modding games like Starsiege and Quake II ended up prodding me to learn C and later I found that my true love was C++. I've dabbled with Python and Javascript, but haven't really found my footing with them.
I dislike interacting with people for the most part, but still persist in doing so in an effort to find somewhere I belong.
